Collaboration is key.
About Me:
Hi! I am Jessica Mateo, the founder of Grow ABA. I am a creative and empathetic person who loves working with others, problem-solving, and creating change. I have always known I wanted to work with people and make an impact. I am motivated by happiness, learning, and the ability to grow and learn every single day.
I graduated from High Point University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. My passion for cultural awareness took me to Spain after college where I served as an English Language Assistant in schools while becoming fluent in Spanish. During my second year in Spain, I earned a Master's degree in Bilingual and Multicultural Education.
I moved back to Connecticut with a passion for working with kids and adults, making an impact on the lives of others, and using my Spanish to reach a wide range of people. The field of Applied Behavior Analysis combines my passions and allows me to work closely with people of all ages while helping others grow into their full potential.
As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, I work in collaboration with parents and caregivers and utilize the science and principles of Applied Behavior Analysis to create individualized behavior plans to help others thrive.
